Georgia is a licensed Psychologist and Psychotherapist (License No. 1551595). She completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology (BSc) at the University of York and went on to pursue a Master’s degree (MSc) in Clinical Psychology at Utrecht University.
She has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) at the Center for Applied Psychotherapy & Counseling (KEPSYSY) in Athens, in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) through the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation, and in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) at the Trauma Therapy Institute.
She completed her clinical placement at Utrecht University under the supervision of Dr. Anneke Vedder, with a focus on clinical assessment and cognitive-behavioral interventions for adults. She subsequently worked at the same university, where she designed and coordinated psychoeducational and therapeutic groups for students, focusing on grief management, processing the inner critic, and cultivating self-compassion.
In her clinical practice, she primarily works with concerns such as anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), self-esteem and relationship difficulties, panic attacks, obsessions and compulsions, as well as other related issues.
She provides therapy in both Greek and English.
