Group Psychotherapy

Group Psychotherapy

The group condition is synonymous with human nature. From the very beginning of his life, man is integrated into groups (family, school, workplace), he becomes a member of a community. Within these communities man seeks the satisfaction of his desires and needs, but he is also confronted with various situations of stress, conflicts, dilemmas, frustrations. Often relationships with the important people in our lives can seem complex or even dead-end. In group psychotherapy, the group functions as a “miniature” of society and the family.

Within a protected and safe context, each member of the group is given the opportunity to confront emotions and mental states that are difficult for them and to work through them with the help of the therapist and the group.

To explore the way in which he or she is integrated into the group and how he or she finds his or her own “unique” place within it.
