Eleni Yentekaki studied Psychology at Middlesex University in England and continued her postgraduate studies in Health Psychology at London Guildhall University.
She holds a diploma in “Trauma Therapy with EMDR” (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) from the “Athens Institute of Trauma Therapy” and a diploma in “Personal & Executive Coaching” from the “Athens Coaching Institute”.
As a psychotherapist, she has attended numerous trainings and seminars and until today she participates in numerous conferences and workshops with the aim of continuous education and training in her field. In addition, she continues her training in “Psychoanalytic Group Psychotherapy” at the “Hellenic Society for Psychoanalytic Group Psychotherapy”. She has also completed the “Inter-university Clinical Postgraduate Training Program in Group Dynamics in Psychiatric Contexts” (EKPA – EEPSO), the “Training Program in Group Analytic Psychotherapy” (Aegineteio Hospital) and the “Training Program in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy” (Hellenic Institute of Classical Psychoanalysis).
In the past, she has worked as a volunteer at the “Alcoholic Rehabilitation Unit Counseling Station” of the Psychiatric Hospital of Attica, at the “Plaistow Day Hospital” (London), at the Special Children’s Center “O Aghios Spyridon” (Crete), as well as at the Psychiatric Clinic of the “University General Hospital of Heraklion” (P.G.N.H.) (Crete). Since 2017, she has been offering psychological support on a voluntary basis to the members of the charity organization “Make a Wish”.
Currently, she works privately as a psychotherapist and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team at “Vima Koino”.
