She studied psychology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in the department “Psychology Program”. She completed her postgraduate studies at the Athens Medical School in the Department of Mental Health Promotion and Prevention of Psychiatric Disorders.<\/p>\n
As a psychotherapist, she has specialized in Behavioral Family Therapy and Psychoeducational Interventions (Hellenic Society for Behavioral Research), and continues her training in Psychoanalytic Group Psychotherapy at the Hellenic Society for Psychoanalytic Group Psychotherapy. She has also completed the two-year post-graduate training program in Group Dynamics in Psychiatric Contexts (EKPA-EEPSSO). She is certified in administering and interpreting the MMPI (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory) personality test.<\/p>\n
Since 2009, she has been working in the field of social psychiatry, in the psychosocial rehabilitation units of the Association of Families for Mental Health (SOPSY). In the context of her work at SOPSY, she developed a special activity around the concept of recovery in psychosocial rehabilitation and the support of family caregivers through psychoeducational and supportive interventions.
