She studied Psychology at the School of Social Sciences of the University of Crete and obtained a Master’s degree in Mental Health from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
As a psychotherapist, she has been trained in Behavioral Family Therapy for Psychosis and for years she was a participant in the seminar framework organized by the Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Adolescence on the specifics of psychoanalytic work with the adolescent. She continues her training in Group Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy with the Hellenic Society for Group Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
She has been working in the field of Mental Health since 2008, providing her services in various Psychosocial Rehabilitation Units and Psychiatric settings such as that of the Association of Families for Mental Health, the Agia Paraskevi Day Centre, the Society for Regional Development and Mental Health and the Department of Multiple Psychotherapies of the Dromokaiteion Psychiatric Hospital, with the main focus on individual psychodynamic psychotherapy and the coordination of therapeutic groups.
