She studied Biology at Imperial College London, England and then studied Psychology at the American College of Greece where she completed her BA and MSc in Counselling Psychology.
She did her internship and has volunteered in multiple settings due to her interest in discovering the different aspects of the psychology profession.
She has worked as a teaching assistant as part of her studies, where she had the opportunity to be in charge of the Psychology laboratories and to teach statistics, and has worked with the Nutritional Support Team at the IASO Hospital in the context of research work on metabolism and psychopharmacology ,under the auspices of Harokopio University.
Her practice in clinical psychology began as part of her first degree where she worked in a private psychiatric clinic and in a residential facility for people with disabilities and continued with her many years of volunteer work at the Day Centre for the mentally ill of the Association of Families for Mental Health (AFMH). In addition, she worked with Doctors of the World for two years providing mental health services to individuals and families of expatriates and foreigners.
In recent years she has worked in the refugee/migration crisis as a member of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), offering specialized mental health services to individuals, couples and families who have experienced violence, with a particular focus on sexual and gender-based violence. She has also worked with MSF overseas, providing mental health services to those affected by the civil war in Iraq.
As a counselling psychologist, her clinical practice is eclectic and depends on the context and content of each therapeutic relationship.
She provides sessions in Greek, English, Italian and French.
