Eleni Apostolidou is a graduate of the Department of Philosophy-Pedagogy-Psychology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as of the Department of Psychology of Paris Descartes, France.
She continued her postgraduate studies at King’s College London, England, where she specialized in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
She then trained and worked as a Child Well-Being Practitioner in the British Health Service (NELFT NHS Trust), in collaboration with King’s College London & the Anna Freud Centre, providing individual and group sessions based on the techniques of cognitive-behavioural therapy (low intensity CBT).
She has undertaken clinical placements at the Aegineteion Hospital (1st Psychiatric Clinic) & the Maudsley Hospital (London) and has volunteered at the Child Psychiatry Department of the Sismanoglio Hospital.
Today, she collaborates with private centres for special treatments for children and adolescents and continues her psychotherapeutic training at the Hellenic Society for Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy.
She collaborates with Vima Koino, in the Adolescent Department, offering individual sessions and parent counselling.
